Jacobs Technology Construction/Test Safety Manager: Logistics and Quality Assurance

Accountable for safety operations in the Field Test Support Division that includes supervisory, training and inspections.

Conducting internal safety audits and report findings to corporate Headquarters’ for approval. Act as the competent person for fall protection, confined space, and equipment training, and provide over site of daily operations on multiple job sites.  Track and maintain logistical supplies, including maintaining a PPE supply cage, equipment/tool crib and specialty equipment required for testing.

Established various employee safety committees and Safety advisory action teams. Responsible for reviewing all safety related violations and make recommendations for retraining or disciplinary actions. Insure day to day safety compliance for personal involved in field testing and construction. Travel to remote sites to perform audits and or training.   

   Additional Duties have Included:  Contract Property Book Manager, currently responsible for 18,040 property book items at a dollar value in excess of $5.000.0000, key control officer, purchasing officer responsible for reviewing and validating all Purchase Requests, Calibration Supervisor, and Shipping and Receiving supervisor.   Owned and operated commercial truck w/flat-bed trailer. Coordinating and  

       Transport of heavy freight & equipment throughout 48 U.S. States & Canada.                 Certified, qualified & experienced in securing, operating and transporting of cumbersome loads and Hazarders Materials (HAZMAT). Negotiating and coordinating with independent Broker Firm’s for freight and routs.  Perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on truck and trailer-rig. 1981- 2001:             

          U.S. Army Staff Sergeant

Served as Current operations NCO (G-3) 13^th COSCOM Ft. Hood Tx. Additional duties included, deployments NCO, and tasking, to include writing tasking and deployment orders, tracking and briefing status to Command, Sr. Operations NCO for Commanders Advance CP, responsible for deployment and operational management. Successfully executed seven, “Corps War Fighter” exercises; Instructor Certified; served as primary leadership instructor (III Corps NCO academy) Ft. Hood Tx. Trained twenty six cycles with zero loss due to academic failure. Commanded soldiers at the Squad and Platoon level, Worked as Battalion Ammunition NCO, Company Training NCO, and Company Retention NCO.  Command Lead, supervised and served as a member of an Infantry fighting vehicle unit.  Employing vehicular and dismounted weapons in combat operations, Accountable, and liable for the maintenance of individually assigned weapons and equipment in the amount of over $60 Million dollars. Supervised 30 personal, created work schedule, training and administrative duties. Taught soldiers basic leadership skills; including small unit tactics, training, and counseling.
